Recently, I visited my friend and as we were reading an issue of GLB together we had a bride discussion about wanting to have ties! I don't really see them very often on SNS, but they're very cute and I wanted to try making one myself.
My only condition for this project was to not spend a single dollar. I have a terrible habit of picking up new fabrics and trims from my job! I now have way more materials than I can store in my room neatly.
The materials I used were cotton twill, lace trims, heat and bond, and a cross-stitched piece I made!
I've never made a tie before! I think it came out quite well.
I actually have a tie pattern in my GLB issue, but I didn't want to tear it out of the magazine! So I took to lolibrary and made a pattern of my own.
