Hello! Today's post is one I'm very excited about!
I received a package from 42lolita not too long ago, and I'll be sharing many photos of the items I chose!
If you aren't familiar with 42lolita, they are owned by the popular Taobao shopping service 42Agent. This site specifically specializes in helping those who are not confident enough to use Taobao to buy lolita fashion, or those who just prefer to forgo using a shopping service altogether for the sake of convenience!
This small haul doesn't include and main pieces, as I really wanted to grab some staple items that I'd had my eyes on for a while.
Let's start with the smaller items first!
Roji Roji Lace Cotton Socks

My wardrobe was missing a pair of white UTK socks, so I grabbed these!
I actually already own these socks in sax and pink! The quality is very nice for the price point, they're soft and don't thin out at the toes when stretched.
I would recommend handwashing, but I recently ran them through a delicate machine cycle and they held up perfectly! I would say that they should definitely be air-dried to keep the cotton eyelet lace and satin ribbon looking pretty.

Prior to this package arriving, I only had one solid black bag that I was faithfully using for both sweet and gothic coordinates. I wanted one specifically for sweet, and I chose this heart bag from Loris!
I own other bags from this brand, and as expected, the quality is superb and it's just as spacious as my other bags. This one doesn't double as a cross-body bag the way my other heart bags do but I don't mind. I wanted this particular style!
The inside is lined with a pretty burgundy fabric, which I'm quite sure is just a standard polyester lining. Quite similar to apparel linings sold in fabric stores, but a bit thicker.
There are two pockets on the inside, which is a big plus! Neither of the Angelic Pretty bags have extra pockets and I like being able to keep my wallet, lip products, and keys out of the bottom of my bags.
Here are my daily items, and they all fit into this purse with no problem! I'm quite sure that I could also fit my Kindle Paperwhite and a bottle of hand lotion if I wanted to! I'm never disappointed in Loris, so I know that this bag will serve me well for many years to come!
I wouldn't recommend this, but I accidentally left one of these bags in a very hot car and there was no warping or peeling at all! The durability of these bags is honestly crazy. I feel like I could punt it across a field and it would still look like new.

These are shoes that I have had my eyes on for MONTHS. I wanted a really chunky, and strappy pair of platform shoes to wear with my more old-school inspired coordinates.
I sized up to a 43, just to make sure they wouldn't be too small, but I actually have some extra space in these, which is easily remedied by wearing an insole.
The zipper in the back makes them really easy to get in and out of, and the straps are elasticated.
They are everything I was expecting and more! I also get an extra ~4 inches of height, which is really fun. I'm about 5'3 and was able to look my 6'0 partner in the eyes wearing these shoes (lol).

For the longest time, I have wanted a bustier/camisole to wear with lolita. I love how they look worn by themselves or layered with other pieces. I think it makes for a really versatile wardrobe piece.
The cotton is incredibly soft, and the eyelet lace adds a delicate touch. I think that it could easily be worn with all three substyles or even with cute non lolita outfits.
I chose a size L, because I wanted to still be comfortable in a layered coord. I have already worn this out to a meet and I think that going up a size added to the comfort. I was out for 5 hours and even after eating lunch and sweets, I didn't feel any discomfort!

This top is just so elegant and lovely to look at, I'm so happy to finally have one of my dream staple pieces! I will definitely be buying the white version!
