Last night I was picking out a coordinate for an upcoming crafting meet and decided to do some spur-of-the-moment alterations. I've owned these black shoes from Socsic Shop for a few years and have always been displeased with the front bows. I think they're just way too small and not very cute, so why not change them!
Here they are before the bow swap!
These are the bows that I swapped the old ones with. They're a pair of shoe clips that came with my Antaina super high-heeled shoes. I bought them to wear with gothic lolita, so the cutesy bows were just collecting dust.
Removing the clips from the bows was very easy, I just broke them!
At this point, I also cut off the bows that came attached to the Sosic shoes.
After separating all the bows, I went ahead and used krazy glue to attach the new bows.
So much better! The larger bows give the shoes that perfect sweet lolita look, I'm so happy!
As for the original bows, I also made use of them!
They look cute as back bows, don't you think?
I'm very happy with this small project, it took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Quick and easy work~
