(Lolita 52 Challenge) Something that was a gift

In an effort to keep myself writing and active, I've decided to take up the Lolita 52 Challenge! I tend to be more active on Twitter and TikTok but I've always really enjoyed written content. I hope that blogging becomes a popular thing for lolitas to do again because I wasn't a part of that era of the community.

I decided to randomize the numbers with Siri, and I may omit a few topics that I don't personally find too interesting. This week's blog prompt is:

Something that was a gift!

One of my most cherished lolita possessions is this handmade pin that I received from my beloved A-chan. She asked if there were any motifs or animals that I liked, and naturally, I said bunnies! It was made with so much care and the embroidery is so cute and delicate.

This was actually the first give I've ever received from another lolita, and as a-chan is a very dear person to me, I will treasure it for the rest of my days. I kept it pinned to my coat over the winter, but now that it's warmer outside I would like to make a cute new tote bag and attach it to that!

Until the next blog!

(Mail) New headdresses!

In February, I made my first purchase from Antique Beast!

I have been dreaming of owning this headdress for a long time. I always saw mutuals of mine wearing it and thought it would suit many coordinates well.

With the yen being down, it's also a good time in general to do lolita shopping!

I paid 4500 JPY (about 33 USD) before shipping for each headdress.

The ordering process was fantastic, my only issue was with USPS. My carrier never delivered the package, and I was left in limbo for about 3 days before I decided to go to the big post office and see if they could assist me. Thankfully, my package was there and the clerk handed it over to me directly!

The packaging was very simple and elegant. I'm also happy that what I thought was a mailer, turned out to be a bag that I can reuse for light shopping.

Just beautiful! I can understand why this is such a popular piece. The fabric quality, the construction, and the details are wonderful! Simple and elegant.

I am so excited to wear these! I think they would look cute in a punky coordinate~

I hope spring treats you well!

I'm looking forward to many meetups under the warm sun.

45 Lolita Questions

I'm currently recovering from a small cold, so I thought I'd entertain myself by answering old questions from the EGL Livejournal  ...
